Frequently asked questions

What size are the cards?

CR80, 85.6 by 54 mm, the same as a bank card. That is what every badge holder, lanyard clip and card printer expects. The print sheet lays out ten cards per A4 page at exact size with cutting guides.

What does the QR code contain?

The card's own data as plain text: name, code, organisation, validity and emergency contact. A gate guard scanning it with any phone sees the same details printed on the card, which makes a tampered card obvious.

Are the photos uploaded anywhere?

Only to your own account. Photographs are personal data: they are embedded in the card in your browser and saved with your private card settings on the CRMTECH server, never shared with a third party. Remove images clears them from the server copy too.

Can I print double-sided?

Yes. The print sheet produces fronts and backs on alternate pages in matching positions, so a duplex printer or a manual second pass lines them up correctly.

How should visitor cards differ from employee cards?

Visitor cards should carry an expiry date and time, the host's name and a visibly different colour so that an expired badge is obvious across a room. Selecting the Visitor type applies all three.

Is ID Card & Badge Maker free?
